<p> a learned Maronite, who flourished about the year 1240, is said to be the author of An [[Exposition]] of the Apocalypse, written in Arabic; An Exposition of the Four Gospels; An Exposition of the [[Gospel]] of St. John; An Exposition of the Lord's Prayer; An Exposition of the Nicene Creed; and Magma Osuteldin, or on the [[Christian]] faith. Nothing has as yet been published from the Arabic manuscript found in the National Library at Paris. The first of these works is often quoted by [[Abraham]] Ecchelensis, and a copy of the same is said to be in the library of the Maronite [[College]] at Rome.
