The stage of Israel's journeyings near Mount Hor, next before Moseroth ( Numbers 33:29; Numbers 20:28; Deuteronomy 10:6). Heshmon ( Joshua 15:27), an "uttermost city of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward," like Kedesh outside the natural frontier of Palestine, in the extreme N. of the desert. At Ain Hasb, N.W. of the Arabah, is a pool still of sweet living water, surrounded by verdure, and with traces of ruins (Robinson, Biblical Research, 2:119).
