Erzites The [1]
Ger'zites , The. (dwellers in the desert). A tribe who with the Geshurites and the Amalekites occupied the land between the south of Palestine and Egypt in the time of Saul. 1 Samuel 27:8. In the name of Mount Gerizim, we have the only remaining trace of the presence of this old tribe of Bedouins in central Palestine.
