George M. Valentine [1]
a clergyman of the Church of England, of whose birth or early life no record remains, distinguished himself in the University of Cambridge, and graduated at Trinity College in 1829. He was ordained in the same year to the curacy of Portishead, near Bristol, where he gave himself wholly to pastoral, labors for eight years.
