Ι᾿στώβ; [[Josephus]] ῎Ιστωβος; Vulg. Ishtob), apparently one of the small kingdoms or states which formed part of the general country of Aram, named with Zobah, Rehob, and [[Maacah]] (2 Samuel 10:6; 2 Samuel 10:8). In the parallel account of 1 Chronicles 19 [[Ishtob]] is omitted. By Josephus (Ant. 7:6, 1) the name is given as that of a king.
