After being educated at Martin School and Frevdyral Seminary he entered the ministry, serving several churches, the Tabernacle at Liverpool enjoying his ministry from 1854 until his death, July 14, 1892. In 1865 he visited the Welsh churches of the United, States, and again in 1876.
