Second Death [1]

(ὁ δεύτερος θάνατος , ho deúteros thánatos ): An expression, peculiar to the Book of Rev ( Psalm 2:11;  Psalm 20:6 , 14;  Psalm 21:8 ) in Scripture, denoting the final penalty of the unrighteous; parallel with another expression likewise peculiar, "the lake of fire," in  Revelation 20:14;  Revelation 21:8 .
