Eddinus . One of the ‘holy singers’ at Josiah’s passover ( 1E Esther 1:15 ). In the parallel passage 2 Chronicles 35:15 the corresponding name is Jeduthun , which is read also, contrary to Ms authority, by Av [Note: Authorized Version.] in 1 Esdras. The text of the latter is probably corrupt.
