a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Petersburg, Pennsylvania, April 9, 1809. He was converted in his sixteenth year; in 1849 entered the Cincinnati Conference; two years later was transferred to the Ohio Conference, wherein he labored until his death, which occurred March 30, 1856.
