a Welsh Baptist minister, was born at Llanggloffan, Pembrokeshire, in 1783. He began to preach at the age of nineteen or twenty; studied two years at Abergavenny College; and in 1811 was chosen co-pastor in his native town, where he remained until his death, August 23, 1862.
