He united with the Seceder [[Church]] in early manhood, about a year afterwards was converted, and soon joined the [[Methodists]] in Ashtabula County, Ohio. He entered the Erie [[Conference]] in 1836, and travelled with but slight intermission until his death at Volant, Pennsylvania, January 10, 1882. a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, December 25, 1809. He united with the Seceder Church in early manhood, about a year afterwards was converted, and soon joined the Methodists in Ashtabula County, Ohio.
