The clan lived in Hebron at the time of the conquest and was expelled by Caleb ( Numbers 13:22 , Codex Vaticanus Σεσσεί , Sesseı́ ; Codex Alexandrinus Σεμεί , Semeı́ ; Joshua 15:14 , Codex Vaticanus Σουσεί , Souseı́ ; Codex Alexandrinus Σουσαί , Sousaı́ ; Judges 1:10 , Codex Vaticanus Σεσσεί , Sesseı́ ; Codex Alexandrinus Γεθθί , Geththı́ ).
