Frederick Charlton [1]
a Baptist minister, was born in Connecticut in 1822, and united with the Church :in 1840. Having pursued a course of study at Madison University, he was pastor in Webster, Mass. three years, and in Wilmington, Del., five years. For two years he was in the service of the American Baptist Publication Society. He went to -California in 1860, and was pastor of the Church in Sacramento till his death, Aug. 9, 1871.
