(Heb. Lebanah' לְבָנָה , the moon as being white, as in Song of Solomon 6:10, etc.; Sept. in Ezra 2:45 Λαβανώ; Chaldaistically written Lebana' לְבָנָא, in most MSS. in Nehemiah 7:48, Sept. Λαβανά Auth. Vers. "Lebana"; Vulg. in both passages Lebanaz), one of the Nethinim whose posterity returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel. B.C. ante 536.
