For three years he studied theology at Heckerstown, Md., under the Rev. Dr. Anspach, and was licensed to preach in 1855. Soon after, he removed to Nova Scotia, and became pastor at Lunenburg. Subsequently he ministered at Bridgewater and in contiguous places, having his residence at Bridgewiter. In August,, 1873, he resigned his Nova [[Scotia]] charge, and removed to Concord, N. C., as pastor of the [[Church]] there. He died in Concord, Oct. 17, 1873. See Lutheran Observer, October, 1873. </p>
