He travelled as an itinerant in Ontario, Canada, two years; in 1802 went to the United States, and there preached for two years, and then returned to Ontario. In 1823 he took a supernumerary relation, and retired to his farm in Saratoga County, N.Y., where he continued until his death, July 17, 1848, in about his eightieth year. He was a man of undoubted piety, sterling integrity, and good preaching abilities. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1849, p. 340. </p>
