Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible [1]
Naathus ( 1E Esther 9:31 ) = Ezra 10:30 Adna .
International Standard Bible Encyclopedia [2]
nā´a - thus ( Νάαθος , Náathos ): One of the sons of Addi who put away his foreign wife (1 Esd 9:31). It apparently corresponds to "Adna" of Ezra 10:30 , of which it is a transposition. Codex Vaticanus reads Λάθος , Láthos , probably confusing a capital Alpha (A) and a capital Lambda (ρ Ο2 Λπ ).
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature [3]
( Νάαθος , Vulg. Naathus), one of the family of Addi, who renounced their Gentile wives after the exile, according to 1 Esdras 9:31; but there is no name corresponding in the Heb. list, Ezra 10:30.
