On the division of the conference he became a member of the [[Providence]] Conference. His appointments were as follows: Barnstable, Mansfield, Franklin, Scitico, Tolland, Glastenbury, Wapping, North-west Bridgewater, Woodstock, [[Square]] Pond, [[Norwich]] Falls, Eastford, South Coventry, West Thompson, South Glastenbury, Wapping, Moosup, Staffordville, Tolland, Windsorville, and Quarryville, where he died, March 28, 1871.
