Asaph Shurtliff [1]
a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, came from Canada while yet a young man, and settled in Easton, Washington Co., N.Y. There he united with the Church, and was for many years an active and useful local preacher. In 1853 he was received into the Troy Conference, and served as a travelling preacher for eleven years.
