an Anglican prelate, was born in London, January 19, 1784, being a son of the first earl of Beverley. He was consecrated bishop of Rochester in June, 1827, and was transferred to the see of Carlisle in the following September. He was also chancellor of Salisbury and prebendary of St. Paul's.
