John Ferguson Grier [1]
a Presbyterian minister, was born at Deep Run, Pennsylvania, in 1784. He graduated from Dickinson College in 1803 with the first honors of his class; studied theology privately; was licensed by the New Castle Presbytery in 1810; ordained pastor of the Church at Reading in 1814, and died June 26, 1829.
