Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible [1]

Ebron (  Joshua 19:28 ). A town in the territory of Asher, elsewhere called Abdon (wh. see, 5 ), which is probably the correct form. It was a Levitical city (  Joshua 21:30 ,   1 Chronicles 6:74 ). The site has not been identified.
