<p> a [[Welsh]] [[Baptist]] minister, was born at Llanggloffan, Pembrokeshire, in 1783. He began to preach at the age of nineteen or twenty; studied two years at Abergavenny College; and in 1811 was chosen co-pastor in his native town, where he remained until his death, August 23, 1862. For twenty-eight years he was secretary of the association in his shire. See (Lond.) Baptist Handbook, 1863, page 113. (J.C.S.). </p>

Henry Davies [1]

an English Congregational minister, was born in London in 1817. He studied at Newport Pagnel Academy; preached successively at Godmanchester, Ryde, and Lavenham; and died March 22, 1877. See (Lotud.) Cong. Year-book, 1878, page 312.
