He obtained the grand prize at the academy in 1699, and in 1704 was elected a royal academician. There are many of his works to be seen at Paris, in the [[Church]] of Notre Dame, in the college of the Jesuits, at the House of Charity, etc. At St. Germain-des-Pres he represented the lives of St. Germain and St. Vincent.
