( טֶפִח , to'phach, a hand-breadth; Sept. Τὰγεῖδα ), occurs in  1 Kings 7:9, as an architectural term for the corbils (mutuli) or projecting stones in a wall on which the ends of the timbers are laid. (See Corbel).
