a French monk of the order of Cistercians, a chanter, lived in the early half of the 13th century, at the abbey of Villers. This abbey, only the ruins of which remain, was situated in a valley of Brabant, about three leagues from the city of Gembloux. Bossutus wrote, in two books, the life of Arnulphe Cornibant, a lay brother of the abbey of Villers, which Francis Moschus published at Arras in 1600.
