<p> a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born and reared in Iredell County, N. C., date unknown. He experienced conversion when about twenty, soon began to exhort and in 1807 entered the [[Virginia]] Conference, wherein he labored with zeal and fidelity until sickness, in 1815, obliged him to retire. He died in 1816. Mr. Arrington was correct and discriminate in mind, sound in doctrine, vigilant in duty, pious in example. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1816, p. 276. </p>

He experienced conversion when about twenty, soon began to exhort and in 1807 entered the Virginia Conference, wherein he labored with zeal and fidelity until sickness, in 1815, obliged him to retire.
