His memory is said to have been so retentive that he could remember everything that he read, and could repeat off-hand two hundred arguments proposed to him, with his answers. In law he had so vast a reputation that he was called "the Monarch of the Laws." He was present at the [[Council]] of Basle, and died about 1476, leaving many works on the civil and canon law.
