The situation must be near the entrance of the Jordan into the Dead Sea (see En-Gedi ). Tristram ( Bible Places , 93) identifies it with ‛Ain Hajlah (compare Beth-Hoglah ); Robinson ( BRP , II, 489), with ‛Ain Feshkah .
