Zereth [1]

(Heb. Tse'reth, צֶרֶת , prob. Splendor; Sept. Σερέθ v.r. Σαρέθ and Ἀρέθ ; Vulg. Sereth ) , First named of the three sons of Ashur (the Judahite and founder of Tekoa) by one of his wives, Helah ( 1 Chronicles 4:7). B.C. cir. 1612.
