He was converted in December, 1832, educated at Cazenovia Seminary, licensed to preach Aug. 6, 1836, received on trial in the Oneida [[Conference]] in 1840, and appointed to Dundaff Station; in 1841, to [[Montrose]] Circuit; in 1842, ordained elder and reappointed to the same circuit; in 1843 he became insane, and died Sept. 18, 1846, at the New York [[Lunatic]] [[Asylum]] in Utica. His talents as a minister were elevated. "In ministerial labors he was abundant, in mental application he was excessive." See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 4:257. </p>
