On May 25, 1831, he reached Quebec, Ca., and shortly after removed to Point of Rocks, Md., still following his profession of teacher. He was licensed to preach in January, 1835, and was received on trial into the [[Baltimore]] [[Conference]] in March, 1838. After twenty years of active service, he was disabled by an accident, being struck by a fire engine, and soon after died, June 7, 1859. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1860, p. 19. </p>
