Nottrott, of the German Missionary (Gosner's) Society, translated the gospel of Mark into the Monidari in 1875, which was printed in 1876 by the [[Calcutta]] Auxiliary. In 1879 the gospel of Luke was printed, and between 1881 and 1882 the gospels of John and: Matthew followed. The work of translation was done by the missionary already mentioned and the Reverend L.
