In 1813 he officiated for one year as layreader in the [[Church]] at Fredericksburg, when he was ordained deacon, and after a rectorate of forty-five years at St. George's Church in that city he died there, October 8, 1858. a Protestant Episcopal minister, was born in the borough of Winchester, Virginia, in 1793. In 1813 he officiated for one year as layreader in the Church at Fredericksburg, when he was ordained deacon, and after a rectorate of forty-five years at St. George's Church in that city he died there, October 8, 1858.
