New Athens, in 1859; studied theology in the seminary at Xenia, Ohio; was licensed by the [[Wheeling]] [[Presbytery]] in 1862, and in 1863 was ordained by the Xenia Presbytery, and had just accepted a call to Cedarville, Ohio, when he died. Aug. 25, 1863. Mr. McCall was a man of more than ordinary talents, and remarkable for his sober and studious habits. See Wilson, Presb. Hist. Almanac, 1864, p. 351. </p>
