Among them are, The Youth's Book of [[Natural]] Theology, in two parts, and a series of twelve volumes of [[Bible]] History; also a popular spelling-book and definer. For a period of more than twenty years he was secretary of the [[Connecticut]] Missionary Society; also for several years chaplain of the insane retreat at Hartford, where he died, December 17, 1864.
