Pierre Daude [1]
a French Protestant theologian, was born at Marvejols (Lozere), September 26, 1654. He studied theology at Puylaurens, and went in 1680 to England, where he completed his studies; was active for some time in the evangelical ministry, and for twenty-eight years was clerk of the exchequer.
