He was converted in 1818, and in 1825 entered the ministry, and was appointed to the [[Chatham]] circuit. For twenty-nine years he labored on circuits and stations, making full proof of his ministry. In 1854, becoming very deaf, he took a superannuated relation. He died at Ilfracombe, September 30, 1873. See Minutes of the Conference, 1874. </p>
