He removed to Akron, Ohio, with his parents, at the age of seven; was converted at sixteen; went to Southl Bend, Ind., in 1853, where shortly afterwards he was licensed to preach, and in 1860 was admitted into the North-west [[Indiana]] Conference. In 1872 he became superannuated, removed to California, spent five years as agent of the [[California]] [[Bible]] Society, and died September 28, 1878. He removed to Akron, Ohio, with his parents, at the age of seven; was converted at sixteen; went to Southl Bend, Ind., in 1853, where shortly afterwards he was licensed to preach, and in 1860 was admitted into the North-west Indiana Conference.
