He was converted in, early manhood, licensed to preach in 1868, admitted into the Alabama Conference in 1872, labored on the Fredonia Circuit, at Monticello, and at Birmingham; was appointed editor of the Alabama Christian Advocate in 1881, and died October 7, 1882.
