In 1839 he graduated at the General Theological Seminary, and afterwards officiated in Brockport, Leroy, East Bloomfield, and Astoria, N.Y., and [[Christ]] Church, Detroit, Michigan; was rector of the [[Church]] of the Reconciliation, New York city, and finally assistant minister in St. George's parish, of the same city.
