a Baptist minister, was born at West Springfield, Mass., July 20, 1804. He graduated at Amherst College in 1829, and at the Newton Theological Institution in 1833. He was ordained at Ashtabula, 0., Feb. 13, 1834, where he remained about one year and then removed to Buffalo, N.
