Charteris, Thomas (1), A.M.,

a Scotch clergyman, son of the divinity professor at Edinburgh, took his degree at that university in 1635; preached for several years as a supply at Humbie; was ordained helper and colleague at that living in 1646, and died before Oct. 27,1647, aged thirty years.
