Robert Butts [1]
an English prelate, became dean of Norwich in February, 1731, and was consecrated bishop of that see Feb. 25, 1733. He was translated to the see of Ely, May 25, 1738; 'and died at Ely House, Holborn, Jan. 26,1748.
