He united with the [[Church]] in October, 1842. After residing in one or two places during the next. few years, he returned to Haywood County, and was ordained Nov. 20, 1854. He was pastor of quite a number of churches in [[Tennessee]] during his ministry, among which were Friendship, Miller's Chapel, and Providence. He died in Friendship, Crockett Co., April 29, 1875.
