==References == | <p> an English [[Baptist]] minister, was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, in 1803, and was educated for the Church of [[England]] at [[Trinity]] College, Dublin. He was for several years curate of St. Margaret's, Ipswich, where he was held in high esteem, and preached with much success. Subsequently he left the [[Established]] Church, and was baptized at Stepney College [[Chapel]] in October, 1837, and in the April following he became pastor of the Church in Keppel street, where he remained for a short time, and then resigned on account .of the state of his health. His death took place April 8, 1842. He was the author of a volume of poems on religious subjects, a volume of sermons, and several minor pieces. See [[Report]] of English Baptist Union, 1842, p. 23.
