At the death of his wife he entered the order and became bishop of Carthagena, then of Burgos. King [[Henry]] II chose him as preceptor of his son John. He died Aug. 29,1435. He wrote some important additions to the Postils of [[Nicolas]] de Lyra, and a treatise entitled, Scrutinium Scripturarum (1591). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v. </p>
