a Scotch' Baptist minister, was born at Annan, on the borders of Scotland, Jan. 19, 1778, Early in life he became a member of the Independeni Church in Blackburn, in which place he resided; not long after he joined the Baptist Church in Preston, He removed to Lytham in 1819.
