Samuel Brison [1]
born in Frederick county, Virginia, in 1797, entered the Baltimore Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1821, and labored in its ranks with great acceptance and success until his death at Baltimore, Oct. 13, 1853. He was twice presiding elder: 1838-1841 of the Rockington district, and 18451848 of the Northumberland district.
