<p> a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Bainbridge, N.Y., March 25, 1804. He was converted at the age of eighteen, licensed to exhort in 1826, to preach in 1828, and in 1836 entered the Oneida Conference, wherein he labored until disabled in 1843 by a shock of paralysis. In 1856 he resumed his place in the active ranks, remained effective some nine or ten years, when he again became superannuated, and retained that relation until his death, July 24, 1872. Mr. Bridgeman was an excellent preacher and pastor. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1873, page 55. </p>
